Update (May 14, 2020)

Dear JBO Family,

The 2020 JBO State Tournaments have been cancelled for all divisions/levels due to the coronavirus pandemic. After considering various options, we have decided that because of the ongoing public health uncertainty and with ongoing requirements of social distancing and restrictions on large gatherings, it would be irresponsible to hold the nine State Tournaments.

While the cancellation of 2020 JBO State is tremendously disappointing and heartbreaking, the health and safety of everyone involved must be the chief consideration.

Districts are welcome to offer any kind of shortened season that will meet state and local health guidelines.

We look forward to the 2021 JBO Baseball Season.

Each community is being affected differently by the Coronavirus. We trust our local associations and districts to do what is best for their organizations AND we ask everyone to follow Federal, State, and Local guidelines and restrictions. We realize this is a fluid situation and that we may need to further address things at a later date. JBO will always put the Health and Safety of our players above all else when making these decisions.

Best Regards,
